    Both drives are the same Toshiba Disk Drive, Mk5056GSY HDD2E61 D UL02 T PH 0984TP 26402 02J 0MTE AO1 DP/N 9874 TP SATA 7200 RPM 500GB FW: LH002D I'll try the boot thing.

    can't boot past bios

    I have dell studio 1749 that won't boot past bios. Tried all the tricks listed here and even the repair disc and the windows disc. Neither of which will work. I'm guessing i need to replace the hard drive, but when i look, it shows two hard drives. Replace both?
