it is, i bought the ssd after confirming the compaitability with the laptop

No the bios has not been reset the bios is running factory settings nothing was ever changed

but how ? i have tried using other USbs but , in order to install, the laptop has to do the boot sequence the laptop does not boot onto anything when the new ssd is installed it just freezes on the logo, the usb is not the issue

what i meant is i tried to do a fresh install on the ssd using a bootable drive but the laptop just freezes on the asus logo when the new ssd is installed in the laptop so i can't even do a fresh install

i also have backup of everything my files on cloud and a extra system image to recover from.

i first of all tried to do simple fresh install on the new drive by just directly replacing the boot drive and installing new os using a bootable drive but as soon as i put the new ssd in the slot the laptop just freezes on the asus logo and nothing happens if i remove the ssd then laptop not...

laptop is Asus X571GT and the ssd is Crucial p3 1tb

Laptop won't boot from new ssd i am having trouble changing my boot drive on my laptop whenever i change my boot drive to a new one the laptop just gets stuck at asus logo and it does not boot, even into bios. Please help somebody i have tried everything.
