    Lol am I really that old? 56k modems used to use regular house phone lines to "call" and ISP and get internet via phone lines. As far as the WiFi thing goes, you're probably much better off buying a USB WiFi dongle instead of an expansion card. Like this one...

    Yes it has ethernet (also a 56k modem? How old is this thing?) Does not look like it has WiFI. Maybe the advertised pc card is a wifi adapter? Idk. PC card interfaces have to match up in order to work. One card may fit in a slot but not in another and vice versa...
