    Toshiba Satellite keyboard and touchpad don't work

    I just now had a similar - but opposite problem with my Toshibe Satellite. After mine went into hibernate - then I woke it - only the mouse worked. No keyboard action. In my case I had to hold down the power key to force a power-off. After it came back it seems fine.
