    Hi everyone, I have an older Sharp TV that does not have ARC HDMI, I have bee trying to get audio from my Chromecast to my 5.1

    Thanks for getting back to me. The tv is a Sharp lc-37d40u and the receiver is a Denon arv-1600. The tv has an optical output and the receiver also has an optical input, connecting the two together produces no sound. Also tried the RCA outputs on tv did not produce any sound. Happy to entertain...
