TY Sega a little trial and error and a lot of luck went a long way with this one. I would imagine the solution is similar is FF, not that familiar with IE, if they even have extensions.
furthermore, if you delete the associated folders listed under the extensions, located in c: program data,they will no longer appear on the extension list, even after restarts.
I found if I disable these extensions, but don't delete them, they no longer take over the browser. I also clicked developer mode, not sure if that helped or not.
