    Is it worth it to get a more expensive laptop with the GTX 1080 than a cheaper one with the 1070?

    GTX 1070 is a solid card for 1080p and 1440p. and GTX 1080 on other hand, its overkill for 1080 and obviously it will perform better than 1070 @1440p. and about 4K, no single card will give you 60+ FPS on Ultra settings. so 1070 is your card go for it.
