This might seem absurd, but the ISP router firewall and security was turned off, which led to some program hacking it and changing the DNS in a weired way: every time something used google ads, it was hacked to pop up another russian ad... So, reset router, change dns, turn security on... ready...

Well... I live in Brazil, which sucks in terms of services... and as much as I hate my ISP, it's the largest ISP in the country (NET). So that would be like AT&T spamming bad malware and russian advertise at US clients. Even if a part of me believes it's a real possibility, it's not the most...

So... what did I do: 1) Upgrading NetGear firmware seemed to solve the problem, but it came back a couple days later 2) I reseted NetGear to factory specs, changed it's access password, all disconected form the internet. Also changed my modem (ARRIS TG862) access password. Still, the problem...
