Anyway, one of the greatest limiting factors in photo quality is light transmission. You simply need larger apertures to allow in more light. And with larger apertures come larger lenses and larger sensors. This is why DSLRs make such vastly better photos than point-and-shoots or cell phones...

I spent four years of my life as a camera salesman, and I can tell you that DSLRs are not even slightly niche. And Samsung does make DSLRs. And really, your entire comment is just one big mess.

I can't imagine why anybody buys smart TVs. That's just asking for poorly-written firmware/software and incompatibility. Save the money, get a regular TV, and spend the savings on a Roku or Fire. Probably saves money over all, and you're guaranteed MUCH better performance and compatibility.

If it's as easy to install adblocking on this as it is a phone, I'm all about this.

I've been using Avast Free for years and I'm yet to have any viruses get through. I install it on all my clients' PCs before they go out the door. Just throwing that out there.

I think it's slightly unfair to say the tech preview is buggy. That should be assumed because of its title as tech preview. This is the one opportunity Windows has where it can put a buggy OS into the hands of anyone willing to put up with it. Once we reach launch day, that's a different story...

20 megapixels does not imply quality.

There's a reason DSLRs have larger sensors and larger lenses. Because sensors and lenses need to be large for quality photographs. It's that simple.

I use Avast and Malwarebytes. Free versions of both that are perfectly functional. And these are the least resource-hungry of all the antivirus/malware solutions out there. I don't see why people use need or use anything else.
