The X12 is rather unique in letting you hear your own voice. I'd say use a X12 where both speakers are fine, and buy a separate microphone. That is what I did, I use a blue snowball for my microphone, but if I want to hear my voice, I can still flick the X12's on, if the pink wire is not in only...
