Solved! Laptop fell down...I think it is working properly... Just that the screen is showing black and white... Can I fix this?

It's possible the ribbon cable that connects the screen to the board is damaged or got knocked loose. Unfortunately that pretty much means a complete dismantling on the laptop to find out and that's not always an easy task. If you want to try it yourself look on youtube and see if you can find a...

Solved! Not enough separation of left and right audio with headphones plugged in.

On a lot of sound cards you can just plug into one of the other ports and reconfigure it as an output, worth a try at least. Also you don't have any audio software installed adding effects maybe? Some settings like hall for example add in some echo.

Connecting a speaker to smart tv.

@boju & kereberos you can not run a speaker from a line level RCA output and it was never a good Idea to try. Those are very low levels and need an amplifier to drive a speaker. All the adapter does is chenge drom digital to analog it will not give enough power for a speaker. Perhaps you were...

Connecting a speaker to smart tv.

This sounds like a terrible Idea, you are trying to connect an output designed to go into an amplifier directly to a speaker. Even if this adapter works it'll be very quiet. You need an amplifier. The headphone jack is a slightly better suggestion, but still is not designed to run a speaker.

Solved! How to connect Amplifier to a sound bar

Can you rip your CDs to a format the TV will play? if it has a USB port that is. Or use a pc or android device and a chromecast. I have a few hundred CDs and they live in a box in a wardrobe because they are all ripped to my PC. Personally I would abandon any Idea of connecting the amplifier...

Solved! PLease help me buy the right vr computer

Well you've picked the fastest single graphics card and one of the fastest CPUs so I think beast mode is achieved.

Solved! PLease help me buy the right vr computer

Looks fine to me, you don't mention what kind of VR but both the HTC vive and Oculus Rift work fine on anything from a 1060 6GB or above. I'm sure a 2080Ti is better than a 1080 Ti and easily good enough for VR, probably overkill. I have a 1070 and an Oculus rift, everything runs fine. Your...

Centre speaker: New budget vs old high quality?

I think with surround it's a good Idea to match speakers so you get the same tonality from them. My first surround setup used a pair of old kendwood stereo speakers and cheap wharfedale centre and rear speakers. And actually it wasn't that bad, but when setting up the surround you could very...

    'A' an 'D' keys sometimes don't work - MSI GE62VR 6RF

Do you game a lot? it's notable to me that those are the left and right motion keys for a lot of games. Just raises the suspicion that they may simply be a little worn out. Depending on the laptop design the keyboard can normally be replaced without too much drama, the little ribbon cable...

Solved! Which one should I buy

I'd choose the Dell, you are unlikely to see much benefit from 144hz with a 1050ti driving it. Also you always have the option to connect an external monitor or a TV for big screen gaming (I didn't check for outputs on those links but I assume so). The graphics card tends to be the most...

Solved! Hdmi audio to Home Theater

I take it this was not a brand new unit? because if it is I would have sent it back rather than fixing it myself. If someone who didn't know how to find and solder up the crack tracks had got it they would have had a total dud on their hands.

Solved! Hdmi audio to Home Theater

There would be no reason to have an optical input if it won't work with one. Does it have a remote and does that or the unit have a power button or a source/mode selection? I'm thinking it's more likely a setup issue than a faulty unit, although both are possible of course. Does your monitor...

Solved! Hdmi audio to Home Theater

The monitor is unlikely to work, it's designed for a TV with ARC functionality and I don't think monitors do that. I also don't know if you can use a normal HDMI output from the PC as a sound only connection because I'm not sure if ARC sends the Audio down the same pins or not as when used in...

Solved! Hdmi audio to Home Theater

Just for Audio it's not important, just set your default audio device to match whatever port you use, and yes that's what the HDMI audio drivers & devices are for. It also has a digital coax and optical input option which you could connect to your motherboard if you have a digital output and...

Will my phone hinder the sound quality produced from a good pair of heaphones?

bound to be, but you can only try it and see. Different DAC, different AMP, different characteristics. Most phones sound ok, but certainly not all the same.
