LG soundbar and LG tv both have HDMI ARC sockets but using a HDMI cable with ethernet thet fail to pair.
This is a New LG 50" TV with. 3 HDMI sockets one of which is marked ARC. The soundbar is LG SH6 with 2 HDMI sockets one of which is marked ARC. I am using a HDMI cable with ethernet as recommended by LG, in fact I have tried a second cable to exclude a cable fault. The tv and sound bar work...
