Used MSE, switched to Avast, Avast screwed up, switched back to MSE, MSE screwed up. Most of my gaming and programming files are now moved to various "quarantine" areas around my PC. The only thing that MSE and Avast was able to catch was a questionable Java file. The best AV is common sense.

Honestly I would tell you to just look around. A good gaming laptop will have at least an i5, and a graphics card like a 630 or something. Once you find a laptop, bring it back here and we can tell you if it's worth buying.
