If i'm not mistaken, i tried setting ext. sd as my primary (default) download destination before. I did root the old SGS1 prior to that but can't say i struggled much in achieving that. On my Xperia though.. It's also rooted but as hard as i'm trying, nothing seems to work. Otherwise pretty neat...
