Now I need a little guidance please understanding how to connect it. I connect an optical cable to this device and the input optical on the TV? And I run an optical cable from my headset to what?? And what else do I connect…sorry I just don’t know how to connect it!

The headphones can only connect via optical as there is no RCA or audio inputs other than that on the TV. Smart TVs aren’t that smart I’ve decided! I have patch cords for that (red & white L/R) with my assisted hearing headset but there are no inputs on the TV. “The more you pay the LESS...
