Does an aftermarket soundcard increase the quality of these?

Hi! I'm currently looking to buy a pair of new speakers to hook up with my computer. I haven't got the slightest idea on what to get, but I'm looking to spend about $300. Going to use these for watching movies on my computer, music and probably some gaming too. Any recommendations?

That sounds really clumsy. Anyway, your warranty should cover it. If not you could just say it was cracked when you got it and have it exchanged for another.

Personally, one of the most comfortable headsets I've tried is the SteelSeries Siberia v2. They have good sound and an alright mic. I think they're about 30 bucks or something.

I solved this on the whole computer by changing it in Skype, though. I made the input Microphone 2 instead of Microphone 1 in the Skype audio settings.

It was like this for me too, at least on Skype. If Skype if the issue you can solve it by changing audio input on Skype.

Windows 8.1 gives more fps, but Windows 7 is easier to use.

Why don't I see Battlefield 4 on this list?

Check so that the rest of your laptop supports the motherboard.

I'd pick the Nexus 5. It seems to be more powerful and also the Note II's pen seems pretty lame.
