how can a HDD with all music files be used to plug into a high end receiver to play?
I read that because of synchronous conflict, there is a loss of sound quality due to using HDD to USB in to laptop and USB out to player/receiver. I would not like to use a network due to poorer sound also. So it's HDD to 3.0 USB to laptop to USB out to external DAC to RCA plugs to amp. Also...
