I had the same problem with my cursor not displaying but every other buttons worked fine on my new LG OLED TV. I discovered quite by accident that if you are using the "Audio Assist" function, THE CURSOR DISPLAY IS DISABLED BY DEFAULT! This info does NOT appear in any of the TV or Magic Remote...
