    thanks.. it still freeze after loading through BIOS, rather as i said I have always to start the PC through BIOS. I will try the other steps and revert back

    Acer aspire with windows XP hangs and needs to be restarted and everytime on restart or EVEN ON normal start up have to enter bios and then exit Bios for the netbook to start. If I dont enter BIOS it shows up a message no boot device
