    how do i get laptop to run in safe mode on windows 10 - mine is doing exactly the same thing and I want to restore it to previous date as well but can't remember how to run 10 in safe mode as f8 doesn't seem to work!

    Thanks - I have tried the F8 key to start safe mode but can't get it to work - should I do F4 as well then?

    Solved! Lenovo Laptop / Windows 10 loading issue

    My Lenovo laptop will turn on and boot up - can log on - it is not loading the complete desktop and I can't get anything to run if I click on an icon. I want to run in safe mode and restore to older date to fix the problem but the keys not appear to work - anyone any ideas please?
