    The second one is better obviously. And I don't think you would have much trouble streaming 1080p on it anyway. Although I would rather suggest going for a slightly old but better laptop. Try the Acer Nitro Models maybe, they come pretty cheap these days. This one for example...

    Yeah please tell us what softwares will you be using. For general graphics tho, I guess the Intel Graphics might be more than enough compared to what you can have with the constraints in your budget...

    Asus has a bigger screen and a better overall design if you ask me. I can't see any difference between screens from the specs though.

    Playing games doesnt affect anything on the battery except it consumes the battery a bit quicker when not plugged in. So don't worry about playing games while charging or not charging....just do what you want...

    That means the screen is functional. Try reinstalling your operating system or drivers and see if that helps? It might turn out to be something with your graphics in the end tho, so just make sure there is no loose cord or anything if you are able to open it.

    It's not about the memory or amount of GB's that matters in the end. Ofcourse it does come into play but it's the type of Graphics you are dealing with is what matters. Can you be a bit more precise please like the exact model number of the desktop so we can help you better.
