    Is it worth upgrading my laptop?

    I would go for it if the laptop is in good overall shape and you plan to have it awhile. However, T6600 is 2009 tech and eventually it won't be able to handle more demanding tasks. So, if you want to keep it - upgrade, otherwise think about something with newer chipset.
