rice absorbs moisture. I think you will get away with it working as it was only steam. if damage occurred it would probably be the screen you would have bright spots on it. check the advanced power setting> processor power managment> maximum processor state and make sure its on 100% when plugged in. what is the brand and model is your laptop?
