    I haven't seen an 845M yet, but based on specs I've seen online, it looks like the 765M beats it. Considering that, I suggest you find something with the same specs as that Razer one, since I'm pretty sure you're dropping around 100-200 for the "Razer" logo alone by getting that.

    Yes, silica gel (those that come in packets with new shoes) and rice are good in absorbing moisture. I suggest sealing the laptop with the silica for at least 48 hours before using it.
