    Have you look at Eurocom? Configure the system to what you can afford then upgrade at a later dater. You might be eligible for a student discount.

    I haven't, but I've only had my Apple TV for a just over two years. Have you tried a master reset?

    There are lots of great laptops out there. If you want something that can grow with you look at Eurocom or Malibal. Both are great systems that are customizable and upgradable. Dell and Toshiba are ok, but only expect a few years use, tops.
