Short answer, don't use USB mic's. Your on board will process your voice better every time.

If i read your question right your headset and speakers are separate, so try this split cable. It (may) pick up just the mic from the headset and will take the speakers and combine the 2 going into a port if it allows taking both headset/mic on same port. Now if you want to take 1 plug and...
