Thanks for the reply and suggestion. I am not so sure about Lenovo, I have had friends that didn't like theirs. I was looking at Asus but am not sure if some of their models around $500 would be worth it for what I need. How hard is it to change out the video card in no laptop?

Hello, I am in search of a decent laptop for school work. I will mainly use it to edit videos, do homework, some programming, and the occasional gaming (skyrim, guild wars 2, etc.) my budget is no more than $500. I've looked around but I'm basically lost. Any help would be so greatly appreciated :)
