i dont know if you can get these products in Canada but if you can ,you should really consider msi ,y40 is nice one but still its not a gaming laptop ,i mean the design ,the fan (cooling),the keyboard ,all these things matter .i would recommend you to get msi Gx60,and also this one got better...

it depends on how many start up apps are there and their impact on system ,if you are using windows 8 then you can easily stop them from task manager ,you can see option in task manager to disable them and see how much they effect on your start up ,also i would recommend you to get a ssd for...

i need to buy a mid range laptop for little bit of gaming ,and i have two options 1- gt650m+hd4000 with i7-3610m 2- amd A8-5550m with hd8790m i know that hd8790m is little bit stronger than gt650m but i also know that A8-5550m is very week against i7-3610m ,so i am not sure which one to buy .
