    If I still get a faint picture with the bright light aimed at it, do I need to replace the display lcd?

    Laptop screen is black but works with an external monitor. I shined a bright light at the screen and I do get a very faint picture. Does this mean I need a new monitor or a REPLACEMENT LAPTOP 15.6" LCD LED Display Screen?
