    Help i can not see my desktop just an empty blue screen

    THANKS, I TRIED SYSTEM RESTOR, BECAUSE I WAS ABLE TO OPEN A TASK MANAGER BY HITTING CTRL-ALT-DEL. I THEN TRIED SYSTEM RESTORE AND IT IS NOW SHOWING THANKS AGAIN FOR YOUR TIME.

    THANKS I AM USING HP550 VISTA HOME BASIC 32BITS. AND ALSO MY GUEST ACCOUNT AUTOMATICALLY SWITCH OVER TO LOG OUT WHENEVER I TRY TO LOG IN, THANKS. WILL BE VERY GRATEFUL IF U CAN OFFER ANY SOLUTION.

    please somebody help me. i get just a blank blue screen with just the cursor showing nothing else, no write up, no warning. just a blank blue screen preventing me from doing anything since i can not get to the desk top icon
