is there more detail on the error? can you see it in your apps list under settings? have you deleted any data that you have found from an old installation in the file explorer?

huh. it may be an update with that specific app that has disabled portrait mode. anyways, there are apps out there that can bypass and force apps into other rotation modes. i use an app called Rotation Control https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.crape.rotationcontrol
