Is this backlight bleed too hideous for anyone to comment? :)

I bought a new MSI GT72 2QE. I never heard of backlight bleed before this, and I have only bought cheap low-end products before. The bottom right half is quite accurate, and only turning the brightness to zero does it go away. For me this feels unacceptable for such an expensive product but...
