    Question Passive speakers without amplifier?

    Hi, is it possible to use passive speakers (specifically Im thinking of Polk Audio Signature S20e) without any additional amplifier? Meaning, would the sound be just quiet or would they just straight not work? If some amplifier is necessary, would something like this work...
