    A lot of recovery disks are an image of the machine, which means they only work on that machine. Probably will have to suck it up and get a copy of XP OEM, $89 at newegg. You'll have to download the drivers from Toshiba and copy them to a CD

    I would guess it's a security precaution to keep people without Admin privileges from accessing the program, e.g., kids or someone visiting using the computer. At least for people that use Guests accounts it would work

    Either of these would be good. I have the Omega HT and it's terrific for music. Both get very good reviews. There is an Auzentech that uses the same chipset but not sure of the model. Currently running my sound card through a receive so no speaker suggestions...

    I your using Outlook Express check in Options, Security and make sure that the block opening attachments is unchecked, there may be a is similar setting in ZoneAlarm

    There are video cards with HDMI and I believe you need an internal connection between the audio and video card to get the audio. There are converters from DVI to HDMI and you should be able to run the optical/coax out from the video card to the receiver if both have the connection
