    1 stick in dual chanel RAM

    quick question, my laptop has 1 stick 8GB Ram, but in CPU-Z and HWinfo64, it detects 8GB dual channel , and in its slot is detected a 4GB stick of samsung. could it be possible to have 1 stick in dual channel mode? here screenshot of cpuz and hwinfo [image link removed] use imgur
