I have an LG 120GB external hard drive. I want to know is there any way to play the MP3's on it in my car. Are there any adapters, cd players, anything that will allow me to do it short of putting a computer in my car?

Some people in the NewEgg reviews have claimed they unlocked this card's pipes: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814102002 Some even claim it came with 16 pipes. It's still a gamble though, as not all X800GTO's unlock. You won't be able to unlock any pipes, I don't think...

rcv'd this card monday, spent all tuesday tryin to unlock, they are locked up tight (and, it sounds like, at the die no less). also come w/ 2.0 memory, not the faster1.6. so i hope ur luckier than i am, now wishin i'd just bought the XL and saved 20 bux.... Does your card have the yellow Vivo...

Yeah. On some cards, manufacturers use the BIOS to disable pipelines on cards in order to price them cheaper and offer competition to comparable cards from other companies. This isn't true with the X1600Pro, plus it's not a true 12 pipeline card.

I remember reading a review where they got an average overclock out of the core and almost nothing out of the memory. Any little bit would improve performance, but don't expect anything special out of it.
