Yes the usb power adapter is plugged into the wall outlet. I’ll try plugging the adapter into the USB port on the TV instead. I agree it should work. Sharp support is now saying because the TV is HDMI 1.0 it’s incompatible.

Thanks for your response. I talked to Sharp Tech support. My TV is a 2011 model. And it’s too old to run any of the streaming sticks. TV is HDMI 1.0; which does not have an MHL Port (current HDMI has it built in). Bottom line I can’t stream on the TV other than the built in Netflix app.
