Internet Junk Traffic Used to Uncover Censorship

c_for"So far, the technology is not advanced enough to come up with an early warning system for natural disasters"If this system is designed to detect internet outages, how could it predict future natural disasters? It's cause and effect, and you can't read the effect before it's been caused...

FBI Decapitates LulzSec With Help From Group Leader

I guarantee anyone here would sell out their "friends" to avoid a lengthy prison sentence. The FBI comes to you and tells you that you are either going to jail for a very long time or you are going to help them out and work to turn in your accomplices. The choice is obvious especially when these...

Autocorrect Mistake Accidentally Sends School Shooting Threat

And this is one of the many reasons I don't use autocorrect. I know people get decent use out of it when you need to throw out a quick message, but I'll just take the time to make sure it's right on my own.

Facebook Accused of Reading Text Messages via App

Just another "we're not REALLY doing what it looks like, we just have those features in there for no good reason on accident" case. "Testing" purposes? If you don't have plans to explicitly use those services on the phone, don't request those permissions.

President Obama Intros Consumer Privacy Bill of Rights

divad1978How exactly does this promote freedom by forcing the businesses to operate their business in a way that they may not want to? Messaging Apps Took $13.9 Billion from Carriers in 2011

GlarimoreData is data... whether that data is voice, text messages, or web browsing -- and carriers need to start treating it as such. Consumers shouldn't have to buy packages texts, minutes, and data. There should just be a data plan. Yeah, but then they wouldn't be able to charge us all these...

Anonymous Threatens To Shut Down Internet Next Month

Doubt it would even be likely, but since all the recent hacks on these companies lately have been more the fault of bad security and easily preventable attacks, who knows... (still skeptical anyway)

How to type exponents on HP PC laptop?

Are you allowed to just type x^y? As in x being the root and y is the exponent? If not, and if you're using Microsoft Word, type the number you want to do. Highlight the exponent and press Ctrl, Shift, and = at the same time. That should do the trick.

LG Optimus 2X is the First Dual-Core Smartphone

Soldier37Just noticed also that Korea and Euro/Asia crapola gets it first what garbage that is. The U.S. needs to get the good phones first. Tired of that! Why?
