Solved it I noticed that when I clicked the For Sale option that the url still had 'rent' in it. Therefore, I switched it to read 'sale' https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/create/sale and Voilà it allowed me to create. Hope this helps since ive been struggling with it for the past year...
