I ran furmark a couple more times. The results were terrible. Max fps was 14 and average was 7. My gpu was at 100% load and the temps were in the mid 50's. I do not believe I can get an accurate temp because it is not working properly. These fps are incredibly low, I am been searching for...

I did do the upgrade. My gaming desktop is windows 10 and has never let me down, so I figured I should set this to 10 as-well.

No, it came with windows 8.1 and upgraded to windows 10.

I have also read that when gaming if the MSI power button turns amber than it means its using the dedicated and white means intel. When I game it does turn amber.

OI have the 970m set to be primary gpu.
