    Can Bose 301 be powered by a DAC?

    I currently have bose 301 series V connected to my computer by a home theater receiver through the rear headphone slot on my z87 motherboard. Would a DAC have enough power to power these 75 watt (ea) speakers? with a 4-8 ohm impedance. has anyone else thought of a setup like this?
