    Shorted toshiba P755 while changing screen

    Shorted laptop. I was changing the broken LCD screen in my( ex-wife's) Toshiba P755, battery out, but I forgot the plug was in. Connector cable to screen sparked at connection point. Now no lights,no response at all. Is it a total loss?
