    Performance of the 6700 and 7700 are nigh identical. Something will bottleneck always, for some games it will be the 1070 for some the 6700. But there are zero instance I can think of where the 7700/1060 combo will out do the 6700/1070

    how high of Settings do you have it set to? Do you have the 4k Screen? the 960m is decent, but yo are not going to be able to play AAA titles at ultra settings. Is it plugged into power, it will throttle on battery

    I would look for the newer 7 series Intel processors 7700HQ and 10 series Nvidia GPU. They will help with power and battery life. The laptop you picked is great just has last generation hardware.

    Make sure Usb is a boot option and secure boot is off, if that is an option
