    Hence removing the SSD or hard-drive forcing it to look at usb drives. Its worth a shot also holding win+v to reset the bios first as well for good measure.

    In my case it was a faulty bios chip. Do try removing the Harddrive and folowing the HP instructions to flash by usb drive as when i tried this it did do the complete flash as it says it will but it was not fixing it for me.

    No it comes up with the error : there is not any available recovery binary in system.
