    Thanks for clearing that up. I think 900p and a 17" screen was the best choice for 62 year old eyes, :)

    Dell does not make it clear but this is what I ordered. 17.3” HD+ (900p) Bright LED Display with TrueLife™ and Camera Even with 1080p can you not scale to other choices in the Control Panel? Would scaling make text less clear because it is not the "native" resolution?

    Will the Dell Studio 17 laptop with this resolution be easier to read than with 1080p? Is the trade-off text be larger but less sharp?
