    Thanks for the reply. I should have noted in my original message that the first thing I had done was to change all power settings to never turn off display or put the PC to sleep. I'm thinking it might be a hardware issue. Any other thoughts?

    Black screen when plugged in to power. Display is fine on battery. Tried a different power supply but have the same issue. Any idea what the issue is and how to fix?
