There are some audio drivers, one such is Realtek, that can take the computer output and turn it into the input. Right click on the sound icon on bottom left icon bar, the click recording devices and make sure "Stereo Mix" or something similar, is disabled (Right click).

What are you doing with 20+ year old midi sequencer, and people still use sequencers and not DAW's anyway? And I'm pretty sure the option to change the beat to 3/4 would be pretty close to the top of the settings.

An amp is probably not needed, as I think the HTC One series all have slightly higher voltage amps than regular phones, as I have an HTC One and I use V-Moda LP2's and they sound perfect , though they have slightly lower impedance than the AKG k240's. Also what format are most of your songs...
