    Can the CPU degrade from i7 to i3?

    Pls I had power issue with toshiba satellite P750. It turns off within 20 minutes of cold booting. I sent it to repairs and the repairer told me after doing the work the processor has changed from i7 to i3. Pls is that possible? And if yes how?
