Why would the aircraft's pilot need a weapon to hijack it when he is already in control of it. TSA needs to use some Logic.

Sure the points are valid about the overlap in anticipating the green light and the other direction running yellows/reds. But the solution is to just add more seconds of dead time where all lights are red on intersections with visible indicators. We'll need an indicator on every light color...
