    how do i find out what format the drive is? I have got an old drive that is compatible if I could check that one, do you know how to change the format on the new one?

    I bought a new external 1 Tb hard drive from ebay, my sony bravo, and LG tv's will not reconise it I have put films on no problems with my pc reconising it, any help.
